New here...questions about MNHello! I just recently realized that the pain I have experienced in my feet on and off for about 20 years is MN. I definitely would like to avoid surgery as long as necessary, since I don't think I would trust anyone to cut into my feet unless absolutely necessary. My MN makes it's presence known the worst if I am standing in one place for long periods of time and I have found the most comfortable shoes to be chunky flip flops (they are all one level and do not have a high heel) because they are soft and padded.
I have seen tons of different shoe inserts and pads for MN available online...do they help, and if so, which brand(s) are the best? I would like to try some but I have no idea which ones are good. Thank You!
Re: New here...questions about MNI am taking the natural route to cure which is prolotherapy...............I do feel it reversing but I am impatient with the progress......it may have taken 20 years for the MN to develop and I want it to shrink overnight................what prolo does is tighten your ligaments so the bones don't hit each other crushing the nerve, after that is accomplished, it takes a long time for the nerve to calm down and shed its unnecessary enlarged diameter. Not as instantly gratifying as surgery but from what I read on results, I'll take the natural way. I have a thread here called the alternative approach.
