Resistant/Chronic UTII have an appt w/ a Urologist in 2 wks but would like opinions. I have Spina Bifida (very mild) and intermittently catherize every few hours so bladder infections are not new to me. However, in the past they always went away after 1 round of antibiotics. This time I have had a UTI for 4 months that hasn't responded to Cipro, Ceftin or Levaquin and the cultures show ecoli and it should respond to these meds. Sex isn't a contributing factor, this is the common bacteria present when you catherize.
I don't have major medical insurance (more like a small discount program) so am trying to wrap my head around what tests might be ordered and the costs. I can't afford all test the doctor will want to run I'm sure so any info anyone can provide can help me (along with the doctor) narrow down what's going on and hopefully narrow down the types of tests I'll need. Thank you.
Re: Resistant/Chronic UTIThere is a natural cure for UTI's and is proven clinically to work within 24-48 hours. The product is Clearmax and can be purchased on their site www.clearmax.net. The Proprietary formula has the active ingredient D-Mannose in it and when taken daily UTI's become a thing of the past. When an infection occurs you take 4 capsules 3 times a day for the first 48 hours and then to capsules a day until the infection has completely gone. For maintenance you take 2 capsules daily. Can be taken with any other medications as it is a simple sugar and will not interfere with any other
drugs or natural products, Safe for pregnant women and small children.
